Emily's Quilt Top
I finished sewing up Emily's quilt top this week. I used this pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew. I thought I was never going to finish up those 9 patch squares but I did:) I used the modern meadow line by Joel Dewberry. Still love that one! I think Emily will be excited when it's finally finished because whenever I'm sewing it, she always asks if it's done yet...almost there Emily!
I asked her which fabric she wanted for the backing and binding. So happy she picked exactly what I was thinking...great minds think alike:)

What a dainty, feminine looking quilt! I do love the colors, a lot!
ReplyDeleteGreat! A collaborative project with one's children isn't always easy in terms of keeping everyone satisfied! The first quilt I made for my older son was a bit of a struggle in that department and in the end neither of us was perfectly satisfied, but good learning! I need to learn when to ask for input...!
ReplyDeleteI love the shortcake pattern! It's on my to-do list (along with a million others, of course!), but I might move it to the top of the list!
