My quilting/sewing goal for the month of May was to finish sewing the blocks for Emily's quilt. I did it!! Yeah!! On Friday I started laying out all of the blocks to begin sewing the quilt top together. Here's what it's looking like so far:
I loved looking at all of the quilts during last year's blogger's quilt festival. It's hosted by Amy's Creative Side and corresponds to the actual quilt market they hold. It was held this past weekend in Portland.
This year I thought I would add one of my quilts to the festival. This has been one of my favorite baby quilts I've made--oh wait, it was my first baby quilt:) Any many more to come I'm sure!
Lots of baseball games going on for the kids this month so my goal is to finish up these 9-patch blocks for Emily's shortcake quilt. It feels like I've been working on them forever so it will be nice to be done with them:)
It's time for the Sew Mama Sew's Giveaway Day-actually week! If you've never visited, it's a fun way to check out other crafty blogs and maybe win something:) This is my first time to give something away so I'm excited that you stopped by. I share mostly crafty things on my blog here, most recently my sewing and quilting projects. I recently gave my etsy shop a new name, Sew Modern Love, and listed some new baby items. My giveaway today is for a bib and burp cloth set of your choice. This is a sample picture of a set:
To be entered into the giveaway, simply hop over to my etsy shop, choose your favorite fabric (I have even more listed in my custom bib and burp cloth sets), and then leave a comment letting me know which one you would choose if you win the giveaway. The giveaway closes Friday, May 10th at 5pm, PST. Please make sure your email is linked up to your account or leave your email along with your comment. I will email the winner by May 12th and have your bib and burp cloth set sent out to the winner next week. (US entries only please). Thanks for stopping by and good luck!
